4completed the first design and manufacture of a motorcycle; and

6construction of its first building on the current site of the company's world

11philosophy and established a worldwide network of motorcycle dealers; and

10900 chapters worldwide, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2013; and
SJR33,2,1211 Whereas, Harley-Davidson Motor Company during 2012 produced more than
12247,000 motorcycles and generated $4.9 billion in revenue; and
SJR33,2,1513 Whereas, Harley-Davidson Motor Company has grown from a small enterprise
14established by boyhood friends from Wisconsin into one of the most recognizable and
15iconic brands in the world, with dealerships in 85 countries; and
SJR33,2,1816 Whereas, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company is part of the fabric of
17communities throughout Wisconsin, and Harley Davidson motorcycles are a source
18of pride and enjoyment for owners, families, and friends; now, therefore, be it
SJR33,2,23 19Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
20Wisconsin legislature hereby honor and congratulate the Harley-Davidson Motor
21Company on its 110th anniversary and recognize the important contributions that
22its products and employees have made to the state of Wisconsin and the United
23States of America.
