1An Act relating to: increasing the funding for employment opportunity
2demonstration projects and making an appropriation.

This bill increases the funding during the 2015-17 biennium to supplement, on
a one-to-one matching basis, federal employment opportunity demonstration
project funds and funds from other federal and private foundation sources for job
creation and development for individuals with low incomes.

Employment opportunity demonstration project funding. In the schedule
5under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of
6workforce development under section 20.445 (1) (cr) of the statutes, as affected by the
7acts of 2015, the dollar amount for fiscal year 2015-16 is increased by $299,400 for
1the purposes for which the appropriation is made. In the schedule under section
220.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of workforce
3development under section 20.445 (1) (cr) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of
42015, the dollar amount for fiscal year 2016-17 is increased by $299,400 for the
5purposes for which the appropriation is made.
