2creating University of Wisconsin System positions for farm succession planning
3and making an appropriation.

This bill requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
to create two positions to advance farm succession planning programs. The first
position is a specialist within the Center for Dairy Profitability to assist in the
financial aspects of farm succession management. The center is part of the College
of Agricultural and Life Sciences of the UW-Madison. The second position is a
specialist within the farm management program of the Division of Extension of the
UW-Madison to assist in developing and delivering programs at the local level and
focus on research, training, and joint programming with county-based agriculture
educators throughout the state.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

SB448,2,32 20.285 (1) (em) Farm succession planning positions. The amounts in the
3schedule for the positions created under s. 36.25 (56).

SB448,2,75 36.25 (56) Farm succession planning. The Board of Regents shall create the
6following 2 full-time positions to be funded from the appropriation under s. 20.285
7(1) (em) to advance farm succession planning programs:
SB448,2,108 (a) One specialist within the Center for Dairy Profitability of the College of
9Agricultural and Life Sciences of the University of Wisconsin-Madison to assist in
