SR5,1,32 Whereas, Wisconsin employers have posted over 90,000 jobs on the state's labor
3market exchange, and are struggling to find employees to fill those positions; and
SR5,1,54 Whereas, Wisconsin employers understand that having access to a qualified
5and skilled workforce will help to grow Wisconsin's economy; and
SR5,1,106 Whereas, Wisconsin initiatives like Wisconsin Fast Forward, Career and
7Technical Education Incentive Grants, and Youth and Registered Apprenticeship
8Programs, in tandem with programming under the Federal Workforce Innovation
9and Opportunity Act, help individuals enter the employment market and give them
10the skills necessary to maximize their readiness for work; and
SR5,1,1311 Whereas, continuing to strengthen the connections between Wisconsin's
12educational systems and workforce programs on the local, state, and federal levels
13are essential to ensuring future workforce development; and

1Whereas, the Wisconsin State Senate recognizes how crucial workforce
2development programs are to supporting employers, employees, and economic
3growth; now, therefore, be it
