Public Instruction
On November 11, 2013, the Department of Public Instruction submitted proposed rules to the Chief Clerks of the Senate and Assembly for review by the Legislature under s.
227.19, Stats. The rules repeal Chapter
PI 29, relating to the repeal of grants for preschool through grade 5 programs.
Per the Dane County Circuit Court order issued in Coyne, et al. v. Walker, et al., Case No. 11-CV-4573, the Department of Public Instruction is not required to obtain the Governor's approval of this proposed rule under s.
227.185, Stats.
