1995 WISCONSIN ACT 189
An Act to create 341.05 (19m) of the statutes; relating to: exempting from vehicle registration certain vehicles owned by a technical college district board and used for educational purposes.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
189,1 Section 1 . 341.05 (19m) of the statutes is created to read:
341.05 (19m) Is owned by a technical college district board, used exclusively to instruct students in techniques of automotive repair and maintenance and is operated only within 5 miles of the technical college to transport the vehicle to or from a technical college. The operator of the vehicle shall, when operating the vehicle upon a highway, carry in the vehicle a letter from the district director of the technical college stating that the vehicle is exempt from registration.
