AB311-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB311-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 4: delete lines 4 to 7.

AB311-AA1,1,3 2. Page 3, line 10: delete lines 10 to 25.

AB311-AA1,1,4 3. Page 4, line 1: before that line insert:

AB311-AA1,1,6 " Section 13m. 940.295 (1) (cm), (hm) and (jm) of the statutes are created to read:

AB311-AA1,1,8 940.295 (1) (cm) "Developmentally disabled person" has the meaning given in s. 55.01 (2).

AB311-AA1,1,9 (hm) "Infirmities of aging" has the meaning given in s. 55.01 (3).

AB311-AA1,1,10 (jm) "Mental illness" has the meaning given in s. 55.01 (4m).".

AB311-AA1,1,11 4. Page 4, line 7: delete "threatens, frightens" and substitute "threatens".

AB311-AA1,1,12 5. Page 4, line 9: delete lines 9 and 10 and substitute:

AB311-AA1,1,13 " Section 15m. 940.295 (1) (kp) and (t) of the statutes are created to read:

AB311-AA1,1,14 940.295 (1) (kp) "Other like incapacities" has the meaning given in s. 55.01 (5).

AB311-AA1,2,3 (t) "Vulnerable person" means any person who either is a developmentally disabled person or has infirmities of aging, mental illness or other like incapacities and who is:

AB311-AA1,2,5 1. Substantially mentally incapable of providing for his or her needs for food, shelter, clothing or personal or health care; or

AB311-AA1,2,6 2. Unable to report cruel maltreatment without assistance.".

AB311-AA1,2,7 6. Page 4, line 12: delete "negligently neglects" and substitute "neglects".

AB311-AA1,2,8 7. Page 4, line 21: delete "adult" and substitute "person".

AB311-AA1,2,9 8. Page 4, line 24: delete "adult" and substitute "person".
