SB391-ASA1,1,1 An Act to amend 991.11 of the statutes; relating to: the effective date of acts.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB391-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 991.11 of the statutes is amended to read:

SB391-ASA1,1,6 991.11 Effective date of acts. Every act and every portion of an act enacted by the legislature over the governor's partial veto which does not expressly prescribe the time when it takes effect shall take effect on the first day of the 2nd month beginning after its date of publication as designated under s. 35.095 (3) (b).

SB391-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. Initial applicability.

SB391-ASA1,1,8 (1)  This act first applies to acts published on January 1, 1997.
