SB2-AA8,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 2, as follows:

SB2-AA8,1,3 1. Page 15, line 9: before that line insert:

SB2-AA8,1,4 " Section 9239. Appropriation changes; public instruction.

SB2-AA8,1,9 (1t) Achievement guarantee contracts. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under section 20.255 (2) (cu) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $3,000,000 for fiscal year 1998-99 to provide funding for additional schools under section 118.43 (2) (c) of the statutes.".
