Representative Linton asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in memory of David Kriskovich, a former Ashland resident who was killed in Bosnia when a U.N. Chartered helicopter crashed into a mountain. He graduated from Ashland High School and Northland College; was a Green Beret Vietnam Veteran; and served 26 years as an FBI agent. David retired and then joined the International Police Force where he worked in Bosnia on a peace mission to stabilize the Bosnian Police force and criminal justice system. Granted.
Representative Schneider asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of Wisconsin Lao Veterans on this day of recognition for service and sacrifices made, and hardships endured by Lao-Hmong and other Laotian soldiers and their families while supporting and aiding American troops in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.
