23with the approval of the office of credit unions, administrator of federal credit unions,
24U.S. comptroller of the currency, federal home loan bank board, U.S. office of thrift
25supervision, federal deposit insurance corporation, resolution trust corporation,

and loan institutions proposes to sell its
2assets to another credit union, bank, savings bank or savings and loan association
3which agrees to assume a part or all of the deposit liability of such selling credit
4union, bank, savings bank or savings and loan association and to pay the same on
5a deferred payment basis, the governing board of the public depositor may, on the
6approval of the division of banking, join in the execution of any reorganization plan,
7or any stabilization and readjustment agreement, or any depositor's agreement
8relative to a proposed sale of assets if, in its judgment and that of the division of
9banking, the reorganization plan or stabilization and readjustment agreement or
10proposed sale of assets is in the best interest of all persons concerned. The joining
11in any reorganization plan, or any stabilization and readjustment agreement, or any
12proposed sale of assets which meets the approval of the division of banking does not
13waive any rights under this chapter.".

(4) (a) The department shall maintain an inventory of all dams in the
17state that require dam safety project under this section. The inventory shall list the
18dam safety projects in the chronological order in which they are required to be
19undertaken. For each dam safety project on the inventory, the department shall
20include a statement of which parts of the dam safety project are required to protect
21the rights held by the public in the navigable waters contained by the dam.

(b) The department shall provide notice to the owner of a dam that is included
23in the inventory. The department shall by rule establish a notice and hearing process
24for a dam owner to object to the inclusion of the owner's dam on the list. The

3which the dam is located, a public comment period, and an appeals process.".
