AB324-AA5,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB324-AA5,1,2 21. Page 8, line 10: after that line insert:
AB324-AA5,1,3 3" Section 12m. 253.09 (5) of the statutes is created to read:
AB324-AA5,1,104 253.09 (5) A person who is adversely affected by, or who reasonably may be
5expected to be adversely affected by, conduct that is in violation of this section may
6bring a civil action for injunctive relief, including reinstatement, damages, including
7damages for emotional or psychological distress, or both injunctive relief and
8damages. In an action under this subsection, the court shall award reasonable
9attorney fees, notwithstanding s. 814.04 (1), to a person who obtains injunctive relief,
10an award of damages or both.".
