(4) (i) The limit otherwise applicable to a school district's revenue under
6sub. (2m) in any school year is increased by an amount equal to the amount spent by
7the school district in that school year for security measures designed to prevent
8criminal activity in schools, as determined by the state superintendent, but not more
9than an amount equal to $100 multiplied by the number of pupils enrolled. The state
10superintendent shall promulgate rules specifying the security measures that are
11eligible for a revenue limit adjustment under this paragraph.

1(1) This act first applies to the calculation of a school district's revenue limit
2for the 2000-01 school year.
