Relating to the Creation of the Governor's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Manufactured Housing
WHEREAS, the manufactured housing industry is an important part of Wisconsin's economy and provides important housing options; and

WHEREAS, Wisconsin boasts more than 4,500 jobs in the industry, provides housing to over 250,000 people, and generates $326 million in economic impact each year; and
WHEREAS, the industry has sustained 60% growth over the past 10 years and provides 20% of the new housing stock in this state; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin is committed to expanding production, sales, marketing and new opportunities in the state's manufactured housing industry;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, TOMMY G. THOMPSON, Governor of the State of Wisconsin, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of this State, and specifically by Section
14.019 of the Wisconsin Statutes, do hereby:
1.
Create the Governor's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Manufactured Housing ("Task Force"); and
2.
Provide that the Task Force shall consist of eleven (11) members appointed by the Governor to serve at the pleasure of the Governor; and
