4(1) Badger care health care program waiver. Not later than January 1, 2002,
5the department of health and family services shall request a waiver from the federal
6secretary of health and human services to permit the department to use federal
7moneys received under
42 USC 1397aa to
1397jj and federal moneys received for
8providing medical assistance under subchapter IV of chapter 49 of the statutes, to
9provide health care coverage to individuals who are not U.S. citizens as provided
10under section 49.665 (4) (a) 4. and (am) 4. of the statutes, as affected by this act.
