SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2001 SENATE BILL 307

SB307-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB307-SA2,1,3 1. Page 82, line 19: delete lines 19 and 20 and substitute "license may possess and exhibit live wild animals at locations designated by the".

SB307-SA2,1,4 2. Page 82, line 24: delete lines 24 and 25.

SB307-SA2,1,6 3. Page 99, line 22: delete the material beginning with that line and ending on page 100, line 16, and substitute:

SB307-SA2,1,9 "169.39 Humane care. (1) Care and treatment. The department may determine whether a wild animal subject to regulation under this chapter is treated in a humane manner and confined under sanitary conditions with proper care.

SB307-SA2,1,13 (2) Orders. The department may order any person licensed under this chapter to comply with standards prescribed in the order for the care of wild animals subject to regulation under this chapter. A person who is subject to an order under this subsection shall comply with the order within 10 days of issuance.".

SB307-SA2,2,2 4. Page 101, line 22: delete "housed or held" and substitute "treated or confined".

SB307-SA2,2,3 5. Page 103, line 8: delete lines 8 to 10.
