Distribution of U.S. flag and patriotic documents. A sum
6sufficient equal to the difference between the amount that the assembly committee
7on organization authorized to be expended for legal and consulting services, other
8than for those performed by employees of the Wisconsin legislature in the
9performance of their regular job responsibilities, to assist the legislature, its
1committees, and its members in the redistricting of congressional and legislative
2districts, less $520,000, to pay for the costs of the distributions under s. 118.06 (4).".

(4) The state superintendent shall distribute to each school district one
9U.S. flag for each classroom in which the school district does not have a U.S. flag to
10display on the effective date of this subsection .... [revisor inserts date], and shall
11distribute to each pupil in each school district a copy of the pledge of allegiance and
12a copy of the declaration of independence. The cost of the distributions shall be paid
13from the appropriation account under s. 20.255 (2) (fL). If the amount in the
14appropriation account under s. 20.255 (2) (fL) is insufficient to fund fully the cost of
15the distributions under this subsection, the state superintendent shall prorate the
16distributions.".

20(a) Notwithstanding section 20.001 (3) (d) of the statutes, of the amounts
21appropriated to the assembly under section 20.765 (1) (a) of the statutes in the
222001-03 fiscal biennium, no more than $260,000 may be expended for legal and
23consulting services, other than for those performed by employees of the Wisconsin
24legislature in the performance of their regular job responsibilities, to assist the
1legislature, its committees, and its members in the redistricting of congressional and
2legislative districts. The limit may be exceeded by an amount approved by all of the
3members of the committee on assembly organization.
