The Assembly met in the Assembly Chamber located in the State Capitol.
Speaker Pro Tempore Freese in the chair.
The prayer was offered by Pastor Brad Smith of Door Creek Church in Cottage Grove.

The Colors were presented by McCullen-Kimpel Detachment 552 from the Fond du Lac Marine Corps League Color Guard; John Gibson, Chief Warrant Officer; Donald Luby, Gunnery Sergeant; Donald Wagner, Staff Sergeant; Ralph Halfman, Corporal; Robert Leitner, Corporal; and Roy Brunet, Sergeant Major and Commander of the Color Guard.
Marie Holzman and Elise Theler, High School students from Fond du Lac, led the membership in singing the "Star Spangled Banner".
Representative Townsend led the membership in reciting the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
The Marine Corps League Color Guard presented a flag folding demonstration in which they folded the American Flag twelve times and explained the meaning of each fold, followed by the Color Guard singing the "United States Marine Corps Hymn".
In honor of Veterans Day, the Assembly recognized members who are military veterans and those who serve in the nation's Armed Forces.
