Assembly Bill 842 was made a special order of business at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, March 4, 2002, pursuant to Assembly Resolution 54.

Call of the Assembly
Representative Vrakas requested a call of the Assembly. There were sufficient seconds.
The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to close the doors and the Chief Clerk to call the roll.
The Chief Clerk reported that all members of the Assembly were present. Under Assembly Rule 87, the Call of the Assembly was lifted.

Representative Sykora asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of Ken Nyhus from Bloomer, for his respect of the voting process. Granted.
Representative Pettis asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of four heroes from Grantsburg, Rachel and Mariah Anderson and Cari and Carissa Skifstad, who saved Kara and Nathan Anderson after they fell through the ice. Granted.
Representative Coggs asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of his daughter Mariama A. Coggs, who celebrated her birthday on February 25. Granted.
