Senator Jauch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Marge Bong Drucker, wife of Richard I. Bong, one of the most celebrated World War II fighter pilots and a national war hero, who died at the age of 79 on September 27, 2003. A native of Poplar, Wisconsin and longtime resident of Superior, Marge dedicated her life to the establishment of the Richard I. Bong World War II Heritage Center, which honors all World War II veterans in addition to paying respect to her late husband.
