ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 297

AB297-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB297-AA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 17: after that line insert:

AB297-AA2,1,4 "4m. "Paid or incurred" includes any amount paid by the claimant to reimburse an individual for the tuition that the individual paid or incurred.".

AB297-AA2,1,7 2. Page 3, line 21: delete the material beginning with "that" and ending with "institution" on line 23 and substitute "paid or incurred during the taxable year for which the claimant is claiming a credit under this subsection".

AB297-AA2,1,8 3. Page 7, line 3: after that line insert:

AB297-AA2,1,10 "4m. "Paid or incurred" includes any amount paid by the claimant to reimburse an individual for the tuition that the individual paid or incurred.".
