2005 Assembly Joint Resolution 53
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the distinguished career of Terry A. Rhodes in his service to the legislature, state government, and the people of Wisconsin.
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes retired as the assistant director of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on August 12, 2005; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes began his service to Wisconsin on June 15, 1964, as an administrative analyst with the Department of Resource Development; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes joined the staff of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on October 17, 1966, as one of the initial fiscal analysts of the bureau; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes was instrumental in the organization, development, and work of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes became the assistant director of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on January 1, 1972; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes served as supervisor and mentor for staff of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau for 39 years; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes was a participant in, and contributor to, the activities of the National Conference of State Legislatures, the National Association of Legislative Fiscal Officers, and the Western States Legislative Fiscal Officers Association; and
Whereas, Terry A. Rhodes ably assisted legislators, the Joint Committee on Finance, and the entire Wisconsin legislature during its deliberations on 20 biennial state budgets, numerous budget adjustments, and countless bills, resolutions, fiscal notes, and administrative rules; and
Whereas, throughout his career, Terry A. Rhodes conducted himself with integrity, dignity, and professionalism, and served the legislature and state government with honor and distinction; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature commend Terry A. Rhodes on his career, dedication, accomplishments, and service to the citizens of Wisconsin; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint resolution to Terry A. Rhodes and his wife, Diane, and to his daughters, Tracey, Heather, and Allison.
