Dear Pat:
It has recently come to my attention that Assembly Bill 563 is identical to Assembly Bill 582. We held a public hearing on Assembly Bill 582 on September 7th, 2005 in the Corrections and Court Committee. The committee chair called today to see if we wanted a hearing on Assembly Bill 563 which we declined since it is identical to Assembly Bill 582. I am hoping to update the bill history of Assembly Bill 563, which would be Representatives Staskunas and Gundrum and Senator Kanavas.
I have enclosed a copy of Assembly Bill 563 and Assembly Bill 582.
Sincerely,
Marlin Schneider
Representative of the 72nd District
