The Assembly met in the Assembly Chamber located in the State Capitol.

The prayer was offered by Leon Valliere, director of Lac du Flambeau Language Program.
Martin Sallas, a Bad River Tribal member and University of Wisconsin-Madison student, led the membership in reciting the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
