Senator Wirch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of the Principal at Bradford High School in Kenosha, Joseph T. Mangi. He has been Principal at Bradford for 18 years, has served the Kenosha Unified School District for 31 years, and this is his 39th year in education.
Senator Harsdorf, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Frankie Rayder of River Falls, who has reached the top of the modeling profession by appearing in her second straight Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Senator Kedzie, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of two people who came to the Senate during what some might term the off season. However, it has come to the attention of the body, that both the new Assistant Chief Clerk, Jeff Renk, and the new Journal Clerk, Alex Henvey, marked their first six months as an integral part of the institution. Assistant Clerk Renk is no stranger to the members of the Senate, and it is his responsibility to act in the absence of the Chief Clerk. He also supervises the Journal and Records section of the office of the Chief Clerk. It is also understood he is a closet William Shatner fan, and he can be found on Sunday nights in front of his television watching "Boston Legal" cheering on Denny Crane. Journal Clerk Henvey comes to us from the great state of Texas via Colorado where he served as a reading clerk for the Colorado State House. He is responsible for keeping our historic records of what transpires in this body. It has also come to light that he has changed his allegiances and interests from Miss Texas to Miss Wisconsin and Miss Madison.
Senator Kedzie, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Aldo Leopold, often referred to as the Father of modern day Conservation and Ecology, Land Awareness, and Wildlife Preservation. The Senators from the 16th and 11th Senate Districts co-authored a bill last session to establish "Aldo Leopold Weekend." This past weekend events were held throughout the state of Wisconsin to honor Aldo Leopold's memory and legacy. Aldo Leopold's ethic shows that conservation and ecology are not partisan issues, and that Senators from both sides of the aisle can work together with the common goal of protecting Wisconsin's natural resources. The goal has been established that one day events comparable to the magnitude of those in honor of Earth Day will mark Aldo Leopold Weekend in Wisconsin.

Senator Lasee, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of the Luxemburg-Casco High School boys wrestling team that won the 2004-05 Division II State Wrestling Team Championship.
Senator Lazich, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of her mother, who turned 89 on February 16th.
