2007 WISCONSIN ACT 67
An Act to repeal 101.63 (1m) and 101.73 (1m); to amend 254.61 (1) (f) 2.; and to create 101.642 and 101.743 of the statutes; relating to: rules requiring that certain buildings be superinsulated.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
67,1 Section 1. 101.63 (1m) of the statutes is repealed.
67,2 Section 2. 101.642 of the statutes is created to read:
101.642 Certain rules prohibited. The department may not promulgate or enforce a rule that requires that any one-family or 2-family dwelling that uses electricity for space heating be superinsulated.
67,3 Section 3. 101.73 (1m) of the statutes is repealed.
67,4 Section 4. 101.743 of the statutes is created to read:
101.743 Certain rules prohibited. The department may not promulgate or enforce a rule that requires any manufactured building that uses electricity for space heating to be superinsulated.
67,5 Section 5. 254.61 (1) (f) 2. of the statutes is amended to read:
254.61 (1) (f) 2. A structural addition, made to a structure that was originally constructed at least 50 years before an initial or renewal application for a permit under s. 254.64 (1) (b) is made and for which no use other than as a bed and breakfast establishment is proposed. The structural addition under this subdivision shall comply with the rules under s. 101.63 (1) and (1m).
