AB877-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB877-AA1,1,2 1. Page 6, line 3: after "(c)" insert "1.".

AB877-AA1,1,3 2. Page 6, line 6: after that line insert:

AB877-AA1,1,7 "2. "Law enforcement officer" includes a member of the U.S. armed forces or National Guard whose activities are described in subd. 1., or who has served on security detail or as a military police officer regardless of whether he or she has the rank of "officer."

AB877-AA1,1,9 (cm) "Retired" includes honorably discharged for persons described in par. (c) 2.".

AB877-AA1,1,11 3. Page 7, line 8: delete "The retired" and substitute "a. Except as provided in subd. 3. b., the retired".

AB877-AA1,1,12 4. Page 7, line 12: after that line insert:

AB877-AA1,2,2 "b. If person is described in sub. (1) (c) 2., the person does not have to meet the requirement under subd. 3. a.".

AB877-AA1,2,4 5. Page 8, line 19: delete "The retired" and substitute "a. Except as provided in subd. 3. b., the retired".
