5"2. If the defendant committed a crime and, due to the commission of the crime,
6the court requested the services of a court-appointed special advocate, an amount
7determined by the court to make a reasonable contribution surcharge to the
8court-appointed special advocate program that provided the services if the court
9determines the defendant has the financial ability to make the contribution
10surcharge and the contribution surcharge is appropriate. All contribution
11surcharges made under this subdivision shall be made to the clerk of circuit court for
12distribution to the court-appointed special advocate program.".
