Special Session Assembly Bill 1 relates to the creation of a new, Government Accountability Board, which will oversee the administration and enforcement of Wisconsin's elections, ethics, and lobbying laws.
Special Session Assembly Bill 1 contains a fiscal note in excess of $10,000. Accordingly, and pursuant to Wis. Stat. 16.47(2), I consider this bill an emergency bill, and I recommend that its passage be permitted prior to the passage of the budget bill.
