Relating to a Special Session of the Legislature
I, JIM DOYLE, Governor of the State of Wisconsin, pursuant to Article IV, Section 11 and Article V, Section 4 of the Wisconsin Constitution, do hereby require the convening of a special session of the Legislature at the Capitol in Madison, beginning at 11:00 A.M. on December 11, 2007, solely to consider and act upon legislation relating to:
Campaign financing, designations for the Wisconsin election campaign fund by individuals filing state income tax returns, creating a nonrefundable individual income tax credit for contributions to the Public Integrity Endowment, candidate time on public broadcasting television stations and public access channels, statewide voter registration, staffing of the Elections Board, providing exemptions from emergency rule procedures, granting rule‐making authority, providing penalties, and making appropriations; and public financing of campaigns for the office of justice of the supreme court, making appropriations, and providing penalties.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Wisconsin to be affixed. Done at the Capitol in the City of Madison this thirtieth day of November, in the year two thousand and seven.
