The State of Wisconsin Investment Board did not consider any proposals or major actions in Wisconsin during fiscal year 2008 that would have significantly affected the quality of the human environment. Accordingly, the agency was not required to prepare any environmental assessments or impact statements under s. 1.11, Stats.

In accordance with s. 1.11(2)(j) Wis. Stats., the Department of Health Services reports that it conducted one Environmental Assessment during the reporting period of July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008. The EA was done for the project to construct a 300 bed addition at the Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center in Mauston, WI. It was determined that the construction of this project does not have a significant negative effect on the environment.
