The Department of Health and Family Services is pleased to submit to you and the Legislature the Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services State Plan for 2006 - 2007. The attached State Plan is required by Wisconsin Statute, s. 146.53(2).
Wisconsin has continued to be nationally recognized in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as one of the most aggressive States in providing advanced patient care methodology to all level of EMS providers, which has significant benefit for the citizens of and visitors to Wisconsin.
These successes and future initiatives support the continuation of a strong Emergency Medical Services program in Wisconsin.
