Pursuant to Senate Rule
11 (6), the committee on Senate Organization had unanimously voted to give Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, Executive Governor of Kano State, Nigeria the privilege of the floor.
Upon introduction by Senator Coggs, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau was escorted by Senator Taylor and addressed the members from the rostrum.
