SJR55,1,43 Whereas, the people of the state of Wisconsin have a sincere respect and
4appreciation for Kikkoman's 50 years of marketing and operations in the state; and
SJR55,1,75 Whereas, Kikkoman, one of the first Japanese companies to have a major
6manufacturing plant in the United States, has made and continues to make a
7steadfast commitment to the economic vitality and prosperity of Wisconsin; and
SJR55,1,108 Whereas, Kikkoman, the United States' leading supplier of soy sauce, teriyaki
9sauce, and other premium condiments, strongly contributes to Wisconsin's rich
10culinary tradition; and
SJR55,1,1311 Whereas, Kikkoman, with more than three centuries of operations in Japan,
12provides Wisconsinites an opportunity to learn about Japan's history, traditions,
13modern achievements, and cultural expressions; now, therefore, be it

1Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
2the state of Wisconsin recognizes the importance of Kikkoman's contribution to the
3cultural and economic vitality of the state of Wisconsin; and, be it further
SJR55,2,5 4Resolved, That the legislature encourages all Wisconsinites to join Kikkoman
5in celebrating 50 years of marketing and operations in the United States.
