2009 WISCONSIN ACT 48
An Act to create 29.216 (2m) of the statutes; relating to: authorizing hunting of certain game with a crossbow by nonresidents who have attained the age of 65 years.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
48,1 Section 1. 29.216 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:
29.216 (2m) Persons 65 years of age or older. Notwithstanding sub. (2), a nonresident archer hunting license authorizes hunting with a bow and arrow or with a crossbow if the licensee is a person who has attained the age of 65. A person who has attained the age of 65 is not required to hold a permit from the department to hunt with a crossbow if he or she holds a license under this section.
