Dear Chief Clerk Fuller:
In the evening of March 3rd I was admitted to the hospital suffering from acute appendicitis. An emergency appendectomy was performed and I remained in the hospital until the evening of March 5th. Due to this emergency I was unable to be in Madison for the March 4th floor session of the Assembly.
I would like the record to show that I would have voted with the majority on all final motions on passage or concurrence. In addition, there were two votes taken to refer bills (AB393 and AB525) from a standing committee to the Rules Committee. I would like to be recorded as voting with the majority on both of those votes.
Please let me know if you need additional information or if I need to take further steps to properly enter my votes into the record.
Sincerely,
Jon Richards
State Representative
19th Assembly District
