At a ceremony last week, their "Defense Division" won the annual "Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year" award from WMC, out of more than 40 businesses that were nominated. The award was certainly well-deserved. The Defense Division won two major contracts last year and hired hundreds of new employees, which we all know is no small feat these days. More than that, Oshkosh Corp. keeps many, many smaller manufacturers in business as well - Oshkosh Corp. contracts with more than 1,400 other Wisconsin companies for supplies and services. And even more important - many of Oshkosh Corp's products are used around the world by our military, helping them get the job done and keeping them safe. Congratulations again, Oshkosh Corp, on a well-deserved award.
