1An Act to create 84.013 (3m) (j) of the statutes;
relating to: payment by the
2Department of Transportation of the costs of relocating utilities beneath or
3adjacent to a highway in the village of Sauk City.

Under this bill, if the Department of Transportation (DOT) reconstructs any
part of USH 12 located in the village of Sauk City and requires water, sewer, or
electrical utilities lying beneath or adjacent to the reconstructed part of USH 12 to
be relocated, DOT is required to pay all of the costs of relocating these utilities,
including any costs for construction engineering and project administration
associated with the relocation of these utilities.
