AB4-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB4-AA5,1,2 1. Page 2, line 7: after that line insert:

AB4-AA5,1,10 "(2m) Training limitation. Notwithstanding section 560.702 of the statutes, the department of commerce shall certify a person as eligible under section 560.701 (2) of the statutes for a portion of the additional tax credits authorized by Section 1 of this act only on the basis of a project that involves significant investments in the training or reeducation of employees at a technical college in this state in credit or degree courses, basic skills, state or federally-mandated programs, or other areas that directly enhance an employer's competitiveness or assist the employer to obtain a skilled work force.".
