ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 7, TO SENATE BILL 6

February 2, 2011 - Offered by Representatives Krusick and Toles.

SB6-AA7,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB6-AA7,1,4 1. Page 20, line 6: delete "to serve at the pleasure of the governor" and substitute "3-year terms".

SB6-AA7,1,6 2. Page 20, line 9: delete "to serve at the speaker's pleasure" and substitute "appointed for a 3-year term".

SB6-AA7,1,7 3. Page 20, line 12: delete "to serve at the majority".

SB6-AA7,1,9 4. Page 20, line 13: delete "leader's pleasure" and substitute "appointed for a 3-year term".

SB6-AA7,1,10 5. Page 25, line 20: after that line insert:

SB6-AA7,2,9 "(3) Initial terms of members of the Wisconsin Economic Development Board. Notwithstanding the length of terms of members of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation board under section 238.02 (1) of the statutes, as created by this act, 2 of the initial members appointed by the governor shall be appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2013, 2 of the initial members appointed by the governor shall be appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2014, 2 of the initial members appointed by the governor shall be appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2015, the initial private sector member appointed by the speaker of the assembly shall be appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2014, and the initial private sector member appointed by the majority leader of the senate shall be appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2015.".
