SB107-SA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: after "landlords" insert "and restricting a local government's

SB107-SA1, s. 3 8Section 3. 66.1011 (4) of the statutes is created to read:
SB107-SA1,1,119 66.1011 (4) Landlord-tenant relations. (a) Except as provided in par. (c) and
10sub. (2), no political subdivision may enact an ordinance or adopt a resolution that
11affects residential landlord-tenant relations.

1(b) If a political subdivision has in effect on or after the effective date of this
2paragraph .... [LRB inserts date], an ordinance or resolution that is inconsistent with
3par. (a), the ordinance or resolution does not apply and may not be enforced.
SB107-SA1,2,54 (c) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a political subdivision's ordinance or
5resolution that affects landlord-tenant relations in the following areas:
SB107-SA1,2,66 1. Nuisance abatement ordinances or resolutions.
SB107-SA1,2,87 2. Ordinances or resolutions that apply to an individual who is required to
8register as a sex offender under s. 301.45.".
