Announcements, Adjournment Honors, and Remarks Under Special Privilege
Senator Risser, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Representative Frederick P. Kessler, a Democrat from the 12th District in Milwaukee, who is celebrating his birthday on January 11th. He is also marking 50 years since he entered public service at the age of 21. When Representative Kessler was first elected to the State Assembly in November 1960, he was too young to vote and when he was sworn into the Assembly on January 11, 1961, he was the youngest legislator to ever hold office in Wisconsin, up to that time.
Senator Hopper, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of his son, Christopher, who celebrates his 12th birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday, Topher.
Senator Miller, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Matt Levin and the students from McFarland high school, who came to visit the Capitol today.

Senator Coggs, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in memory of his sister Velma L. Coggs, who passed on January 3, 2011.
