AB636,1,2 1An Act to create 20.932 of the statutes; relating to: prohibiting the expenditure
2of moneys from the national mortgage settlement without legislative approval.

This bill prohibits the expenditure of moneys directly received by the state from
the national mortgage settlement unless the expenditure is approved by the
legislature.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB636, s. 1 3Section 1. 20.932 of the statutes is created to read:
AB636,1,7 420.932 National mortgage settlement. The state may make no expenditure
5of the moneys directly received from the national mortgage settlement unless the
6expenditure is approved by a majority of the members elected to each house of the
7legislature.
