ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 396

AB396-SA1-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the amendment as follows:

AB396-SA1-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: after "home" insert "who resides at the home or who maintains another residence outside the home in this state".

AB396-SA1-AA1,1,6 2. Page 1, line 6: after "resides." insert "An elector who resides at a home but does not wish to cast his or her vote at the home shall so indicate on his or her absentee ballot application.".

AB396-SA1-AA1,1,7 3. Page 1, line 11: after that line insert:

AB396-SA1-AA1,1,10 "2n. Page 8, line 17: delete "If the elector maintains a residence outside the facility or home," and substitute "If the elector resides at the facility or home or maintains a residence in this state outside the facility or home,".

AB396-SA1-AA1,2,3 2o. Page 8, line 19: after "residence." insert "An elector who resides in a facility or home but does not wish to cast his or her absentee ballot at the facility or home shall so indicate on his or her absentee ballot application.".

AB396-SA1-AA1,2,5 2p. Page 10, line 14: after "clerk" insert "from electors who wish to cast their ballots at the facility or home".

AB396-SA1-AA1,2,7 2q. Page 10, line 22: after "ballot" insert "and who wishes to cast the ballot at the facility or home".".
