AB40-ASA1,459,2421 dm. The number of adult students served by basic education courses, adult high
22school or English language learning courses, or courses that combine basic skills and
23occupational training as a means of expediting basic skills remediation, and the
24success rate of adult students completing such courses.
AB40-ASA1,459,2525 e. Participation in dual enrollment programs.

1f. The workforce training provided to businesses and individuals.
AB40-ASA1,460,22 g. Participation in statewide or regional collaboration or efficiency initiatives.
AB40-ASA1,460,43 h. Training or other services provided to special populations or demographic
4groups that can be considered unique to the district.
AB40-ASA1,460,85 1m. Subject to modification by the joint committee on finance under subd. 2.,
6allocations under the formula established under subd. 1. shall be based on a district's
7performance with respect to 7 of the 9 criteria specified in subd. 1. a. to h., and the
8board shall allow each district to designate the criteria used for the allocations.
AB40-ASA1,460,189 2. No later than March 31, 2014, the board shall submit a plan for making
10allocations pursuant to the formula established under subd. 1. to the joint committee
11on finance. If the cochairpersons of the joint committee on finance do not notify the
12board within 14 working days after the date of the submittal of the plan that the
13committee has scheduled a meeting to review the plan, the board shall implement
14the plan. If, within 14 working days after the date of the submittal of the plan, the
15cochairpersons of the committee notify the board that the committee has scheduled
16a meeting to review the plan, the board may not implement the plan unless the
17committee approves or modifies the plan. If the committee modifies the plan, the
18board may implement the plan only as modified by the committee.
AB40-ASA1,460,2219 3. In each fiscal year, beginning in fiscal year 2014-15, the board shall submit
20a report to the joint committee on finance that describes how the amount
21appropriated under s. 20.292 (1) (d) is allocated to each district under the plan
22administered under subd. 2. The report shall describe all of the following:

9public. Each district board that maintains an Internet site shall make the report
10available to the public at the Internet site.
AB40-ASA1,461,1411 5. The board shall include in its biennial budget request under s. 16.42 any
12legislative proposals that the board recommends that relate to the criteria specified
13in subd. 1. a. to h. or to the plan or formula approved or modified by the joint
14committee on finance under subd. 2.

7discontinue aids to those programs which are no longer necessary to meet needs
8within the state.

1maintenance of such facilities and equipment and costs incurred in the coordination
2of the training programs.

24provided by a nonprofit organization for children at risk, as defined in s. 118.153 (1)
25(a), in a county having a population of 500,000 or more to assist those children at risk

1in acquiring employability skills and occupational-specific competencies before
2leaving high school. If the board approves a program under this paragraph, the
3board may award a grant, from the appropriation under s. 20.292 (1) (ef) (f), to the
4nonprofit organization providing the program and the nonprofit organization shall
5use the funds received under the grant to provide the program.
