AB54-AA4,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB54-AA4,1,2 2" Section 1m. 6.86 (1) (bb) of the statutes is created to read:
AB54-AA4,2,33 6.86 (1) (bb) If an application made in person under par. (b) is rejected for any
4reason, the clerk or election official shall attempt to contact the elector by telephone
5or electronically to inform the elector that his or her application made in person has
6been rejected and that, in order for the elector's vote to be counted, the elector must
7vote at his or her polling place on election day. The clerk or election official shall
8prepare a report of the rejected applications. The report shall indicate the times and
9dates on which the clerk or election official attempted to contact the elector and the
10reason for the rejected application. The clerk shall review the report and confirm the
11information contained therein and shall sign and date the report in the presence of
12at least one witness at the polling place. The clerk shall post the report on the
13municipality's Internet site or, if the municipality does not maintain an Internet site,

1on the Internet site of the county where the municipality is located. The clerk shall
2submit a copy of the report to the board and the board shall post it on its Internet
3site.".
