  Speaker of the Assembly Vos has announced the 12 members of the bipartisan Speaker’s Task Force on Rural Schools.
  Assembly representatives include Representative Mary Czaja (R-Irma), Representative Warren Petryk (R-Eleva), Representative Ed Brooks (R-Reedsburg), Representative Mary Williams (R-Medford), Representative Jeff Mursau (R-Crivitz), Representative Michael Schraa (R-Oshkosh), Representative Stephen Nass (R-Whitewater), Representative Chris Danou (D-Trempealeau), Representative Sondy Pope (D-Cross Plains) and Representative Mandy Wright (D-Wausau). Representative Rob Swearingen (R-Rhineland) is serving as chair of the task force and Representative Fred Clark (D-Baraboo) is the vice-chair.

  Per the request of Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca, please designate Representative Christie Sinicki the ranking Democratic member of the Assembly Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing. Also please designate Representative Daniel Reimer the ranking member on the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means.
  Minority Leader Barca hopes to have these changes in effect by the Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing meeting scheduled for today.

Under Assembly Rule 9(c), the minority leader is charged with nominating minority members for appointment by the Speaker to legislative standing committees. At this time I would like to revise the nominations made earlier this session.
I would like to request that Representative Christine Sinicki serve as the ranking Democratic member of the Assembly Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing. I would also like to request that Representative Daniel Reimer now serve as the ranking member of the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means.
Further, I request that this change be effective for the meeting of the Committee on Government Operations and
State Licensing scheduled for tomorrow.
