This letter is to request a modification to the minority membership of a joint legislative standing committee.

Under Assembly Rule 9 (c), the Minority Leader is charged with nominating minority members for appointment by the Speaker to legislative standing committees. 

At this time I would like to nominate Representative Amy Sue Vruwink for appointment to the Joint Committee on Finance in the position currently held by Representative Jon Richards.  I would ask that this appointment be made in advance of the May 6 meeting of the committee.
