Announcements, Adjournment Honors, and Remarks Under Special Privilege
Senator Wirch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Lucille Repka, who died recently. “Lou” was a former Kenosha County employee and a passionate advocate for social justice issues. She will be missed by friends and Bradford church members.
Senator Schultz, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Ozzy Tranel of Cuba City, who passed away over the weekend. He was well known and a well-respected farmer in the area. He was also quite a Brewers fan. Ozzy was the grandfather of Representative Travis Tranel.
Senator Schultz, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Jack Marchant, father of Rob Marchant, former Senate Chief Clerk, who passed away over the weeknd.

Trish was the interim director of the “Rainbow House”, a domestic abuse shelter in Marinette. She was killed in a domestic abuse incident.
Senator Vinehout, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of her staff member, Ben Larson, whose birthday is today. Day after day, Ben works very hard to keep the people of the 31st happy. Senator Vinehout thanks him for his work. The people of the 31st are well served by his exemplary work.
Senator Taylor, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjoirn, it do so in honor of Lawrence “Larry” Hardwell, who passed away at the age of 74. Larry was a staff person for Polly Williams and a father of 7 girls and 2 boys. He was also one of the greatest political minds of his time.

Cal is a student at Lincoln High School who serves on the Student Council and participates in Smart Vote, South Wood County Teen Leadership Program, and the 2013 Badger Boys State.

They showed off the robot they built for a robotic competition for the Midwest. Out of 500 competitors, they came in 1st in imagination.
