AJR24,1,64 Whereas, all Wisconsin's legislators come together to express our sincere
5sympathies to the families and friends of the victims and those injured from the
6terrorist bombings at the Boston Marathon; and
AJR24,1,77 Whereas, as a state we have seen tragedy firsthand, and lived through it; and
AJR24,1,98 Whereas, whether the evil occurs at a beauty salon, a temple, or at a marathon,
9we sympathize with those injured and those left behind; and
AJR24,1,1210 Whereas, as the nation learns more about the events and the people behind the
11horrific crimes in Boston, we also will learn stories of heroes who went above and
12beyond to help their fellow citizens; and
AJR24,1,1413 Whereas, the first responders, fire fighters, police, and medical volunteers
14heroically rushed into carnage to aid their fellow citizens; and

1Whereas, it is important to celebrate them, amid the stories of loss and pain;

4victims, and praise the everyday heroes who work tirelessly to keep us safe; and

6will always triumph; and
AJR24,2,87 Whereas, the good in us will prevail over evil, and it always will; now, therefore,

AJR24,2,12 9Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the 101st
10Wisconsin state legislature extends prayers and condolences to those impacted by
11the tragic bombings in Boston and offers toward the state of Massachusetts any
12assistance that our citizens can offer.
